Aliens: "Well, that escalated quickly."
"Gods" in this universe come in solar-system-sets. Sun's solar system has three gods: Planet, Moon and Sun. (We continue with my tendency to give shit the most original names evur.) Moon is pretty much the only one of the three gods that gives any shit about Earthling life (even the Moonie sees its more like a hobby), so seeing another solar system's mofos coming to kill off its hard work, it was like "OH NO YOU WON'T" and whined its other two pals into letting it grant half of the humans some magicz. The other two were like "for the love of us if it shuts you up then YES save the tiny organisms kthxbai". Moon was like "8D yay" and we got Supernaturals.
In short, I wanted to have a comic with weird-haired people that had weird eye colors, too, and actually give it all some kind of an explanation for once.
